Aerial photography from helicopter
Taking photographs from helicopter is restricted by the norwegian state security authority. However, aerial photography permission may be optained.This is called photo license, and can be obtained from the National Security Agency, NSM. It is easy to get permission to individual missions limited in time and scope. This you can get both by phone and fax. Exempt from this requirement, are passengers of aircrafts on charter or taxi traffic. Otherwise, it is forbidden to take pictures from helicopter without it. A general license must applied for. This takes 3-6 weeks.
