The sightseeing tour departs from the local helicopter base just outside of Harstad city. Depending on wind direction, the helicopter takes off southbound and passes the communities of Breivika and Kilbotn. Turning inland the helicopter will fly above Sørvikfjellet mountain and Storvatnet lake. After this, you will have a stunning view of the ocean outside Straumsbotten and Kvæfjord. Kasfjord appears next as the helicopter flies northbound to Elgsnes. The flight will then go past Storhornet mountain peak (if weather permits), before finally heading towards the City of Harstad while passing Ervika.
