This helicopter tour starts at Kjeller airport just short drive from Oslo city. After takeoff we head towards Oslo city too enjoy the views. One of the many highlights is the Oslo skyline with the Operahouse, Oslo Harbour with Akershus fortress, Aker Brygge, and Holmenkollen ski jump. Next, we follow the inner Oslofjord towards idyllic Drøbak town and Oscarsborg fortress. On the west side of the narrow sound located here, there is an underwater wall just below surface level. This was built in the 1800s to force hostile warships to choose the east passage and therefore be within reach of the fortress' cannons. Remarkably, this wall is visible from the helicopter! Following this, we head south to our destination of Villa Malla, an excellent place to enjoy good food and drinks while viewing the busy traffic on the fjord. Landing at Villa Malla must be pre arranged with the helicopter operator and Villa Malla for an extra cost. In those cases the flight is terminated there.
