The helicopter sightseeing tour starts from the helicopter base in Kinsarvik, and we will slowly ascend to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, the largest of its kind in Europe. After this, Måbødalen canyon opens up as a science fiction like gap in the terrain, before the flight continues on to Vøringsfossen waterfall. It is the highest in Norway with a 140m vertical freefall. Heading west the town of Utne is next, and it recides in a fjordarm of Hardangerfjord that carves deep into the mountains. After crossing the fjord, the helicopter climbs up to Jondal valley and Folgefonna glacier and national park. A popular area for skiing during summer. Crossing the glacier, the tour descends to sea level and head towards the town of Odda, located in the south end of Sørfjorden. The next highlight is Trolltunga, which translates to the "Troll tongue". It is a spectacular rock formation pointing out like a giant tongue. On the way back the helicopter tour will fly past the village of Ullensvang. See also Bergen Helicopter Tours and Hovden Helicopter Tours
